Why Analysis is important, continued

Studying strategies of rhetorical analysis can allow us to learn what are some effective ways of appealing to an audience, as opposed to those which may be less effective.  That way, in the future, in our writings, we will know how to catch the attention of whatever audience we are writing to, and make the point we would like to get across.

I think rhetorical analysis is important because it is evidentin every day of my life.  Every day I see commercials or ads trying to get me to go see a movie or to go try a new product. It is important because i may need to use it to get a job in the future and it would help me to know ways a persuading someone to hire me.

Every day and in every way people are trying to manipulate us.  It is so much a part of every day life that people don't notice the manipulations, until they learn about it in a class or from a text book.  Rhetorical devices are just fancy technical terms for things that are almost instinctual, for example little children that cry and throw fits to get what they want.  The only way to keep from being thrown around by the constant barrage of rhetorical stratagies is to search for, recognize, and analyze these things in the world around us.

I have found that analyzing things the proper way is a major key to developing your own views on an issue.  In todays society, people are trying to maniplate us by having us buy products or take sides on issues.  If you can properly analyze the message being sent to can see both sides of the issue and then make a judgement as to what is in your best interest.

I think that this essay is important because we need to learn how to respect and compare other peolpe's opinions. Our society needs to know how to listen to multiple voices on one issue or topic.

We use rhetorical analyses is important because we can evaluate different texts and are able to see the author's view.  I think using rhetorical analysis helps open our eyes to different issues and topics in our society.  In a way it opens our eyes and help us look at our surroundings and possible gives us an understanding.

I believe that the reason that we use rhetorical analysis is to understand what a writer or author are trying to get across and how they go about doing this!  There are so many different ways of doing this and it is for us to determine what exactly is effective.  i think that i will use rhetorical analysis in the future in understanding magazine articles and newspaper articles.
